This is the class mandated by Kansas Law for those persons who wish to obtain a Kansas Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.

This eight plus hour course exposes the student to the course material as required by the Kansas Attorney General for Kansans seeking to obtain a Kansas Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.

Cost of the course is $100.00 per student

Class Objectives:

The objectives of this class are as follows:

·         To qualify students to carry concealed handguns after successfully completing an 8 hour course of instruction

·         To educate students on the responsibilities of firearms safety, use of deadly force, maintenance of firearms, proper mental conditioning, marksmanship and judgmental shooting situations as required by law.

·         To have students display knowledge and proficiency in deadly force issues by passing an approved written test. All incorrect answers will be reviewed by the instructor before the conclusion of the class.

·         To have students display proficiency with a handgun by qualifying during the course with a minimum of 18 of the 25 required rounds striking the scoring portion of an approved target.

Required Equipment:

1. Pen &  note taking materials

2. Kansas Driver’s license or Kansas ID Card

3. 50 rounds of factory ammunition

4. Handgun of choice

5. Holster (Optional but preferred)

6. Sack or other lunch
